Comes To

All of my professional life I have wanted to go (or come to if you live there) the United States of America, while I was working on the clubs and cabaret scene in the united kingdom and Europe the only way possible for me to get there, or anywhere else! Was to get a gig, in the country, but the opportunity never arose, although I did work for the American forces in France 1964-1965/6 then Charlie Deg… (Can’t spell his name) kicked everybody out! So I went to Germany mainly bases round Frankfurt, Manheim, Darmstadt, I was in the Ivan Brothers, we where a duo Ivan and Myself, we where Quite famous in the UK throughout the 60s & 70s, paste the name Ivan brothers in google or something and have a look! anyhow that’s history, so you may remember us if you where serving in France or Germany… we did get as far as Heidelberg and over to Nuremberg so have a think if you where there, we worked with Dixie Lee, Don Crocket, Bossa and Clemmy the Maori castaways, Wee Willie Harris and many more top artistes of the time.

We came back in February in time for me to do the Cousin Tuneys Telethon charity … But we got there on the 1^st of March instead … and we did it again … Came for a month, and stayed for three!

Both Barbara and I thoroughly enjoyed our second visit as much, if not more! Than our first. Barbara just enjoys the music scene, so I am a very lucky man. On this visit to Jackson, Tennessee, I did three separate TV shows and at least five live radio shows …

The West Tenn Diamond Jaxx picked up their third straight win as they defeated the Tennessee Smokies 6-4 in the first game of a four game series from Smokies Park.
