After years of travelling Europe,…France Germany etc

Ivan & myself finally split, him and sandy ended up backing “Cherry Roland & the Explosion! “I started up on my own shortly after, I was called “Tony Dell” …The jumble of papers, Tickets, Unpaid cheques (received! Of course?? I think) and real fast life, got left behind.  To begin a new one! As Tony Dell.  I was called that until I joined equity around 1974 I had to change it because another Tony Dell existed.  My new name was and is

W, Hickory Smith.  A snot asked my wife what the “W” stood for!  She immediately replied (to shut her up) W*nker it worked! Here are a few shots>>

I worked a week there; I only met lulu on the first night.  Somebody was to weak to top the bill at tito’s in Cardiff, so I ended up doing both clubs, Porth Call to Cardiff and back every night.  Mind you the money was nice at the end of it.

She is a Brilliant act! Excellent Live Performer.  As I am writing this she has come on the television on a show called “AN AUDIENCE WITH LULU”

Time and date 9-30pm sat 18^th may 2002.  What a coincidence?
