Below is the now OPEN Waterside Hotel, this picture was taken last summer, when the Waterside and the canal! Were both being renovated….Also a shot of the lock-house 200yds away on the canal .

I have roughly joined together these three shots, for a panoramic view of over the hills to Yorkshire. The waterside is on the right of the picture!

Her is a closer shot of the hills, the white house is on the top of the hill! About 1mile further on, it is a beautiful walk. when you get off the tarmac a few hundred yards on, turn left on the old road, it is blocked for vehicles by two or three large boulders…this path brings you out at the white-house, It is a fine restaurant come pub, where hikers on the Pennine way call to refresh themselves with traditional ales and good food. The main road is the A58 from Rochdale, about 5mile. I took the shot of the wicker deer or animals, mid February At Hollingworth Lake Littleborough. I came third in the recent photography competition held by the country park visitors centre…four of my photographs are there on display with lots of other entrants work…why not take a look!
